RJ Verity is a Guernsey-based author of historical fiction.
Her debut trilogy, The Poole Legacy, follows the fortunes of the Poole family across the twentieth century, exploring ambition, identity and social change. The first novel, Poole of Light, set in northern England, centres on the rise of early cinema and one man’s journey through war and transformation. Its companion short story, Bright Light, follows showgirl Daisy Briscoe from the mining towns of her childhood to the stages of 1920s Paris and New York.
