Encaustic Art is created by heating coloured beeswax with electrical tools to manipulate the wax into images on high gloss paper.
Although the tools and materials have changed since its origins, it is by no means a new art medium. There is evidence of encaustic art from as far back in history as the Ancient Greeks and Egyptians, preceding many other art Mediums.
In this free demonstration Lynne will show the different effects that can be achieved with the different tools. No booking required.
