SAC: Beginners' Knitting WORKSHOP with Linda O'Leary

This year, in addition to the exhibition, Sarnia Arts and Crafts Club have organised a programme of artist demonstrations and workshops!

A workshop perfect for complete beginners or those with limited knitting experience.  Learn all the basic skills required to complete a simple project to make a baby beanie hat.  All materials (needles, yarn and a pattern) will be included within the cost of the workshop. And you will be given a set of instructions with pictures to take home with you as a reminder of what you have learned.

Learn how to:  

Read a pattern
Cast on and off
Knit stitch and Purl stitch
Decrease
Join seams using Mattress stitch
