Portraiture at the Bathing Pools

Untutored portrait drawing session hosted in the serene beauty of the Vive La Vallette by Drink & Draw

Drink & Draw brings you the first-of-its-kind portrait drawing session in collaboration with Vive La Vallette*, the charity to which all profits will be donated.

In the dedicated event space with unrivalled sea-views, your model will sit for one pose, taking breaks every 40 minutes. The session will provide artists with the opportunity to focus on their portrait skills without the usual pressure of time constraints. They are welcome to create one, or multiple works over the two and a half hours. The session is untutored, however some guidance literature will be provided to browse before we start and during the breaks.

Basic materials (as in a Drink & Draw session) will be provided including paper, boards, clips and seating. Participants are welcome to bring their own materials.

Spaces are limited to just 15.

Advanced booking is required; reserve your space today to avoid disappointment.

Doors open from 1.30pm for a 2pm start.

If you wish to bring your own easel, please be prepared to stand behind the seated row to prevent obstructing other participants' view. Easels must be floor-standing as no stools will be available.

*Vive La Vallette is a Guernsey charity established in 2019 to regenerate the facilities serving The Bathing Pools. Their vision is for The Bathing Pools to be a vibrant destination where everyone can feel welcome and valued.
