At our Writers Workshop, participants give and receive constructive feedback on works in progress in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
If you're interested in taking part, please email us up to 1,000 words of your creative writing. This could be fiction or non-fiction including poetry, a script, an extract from a novel or short story, or even just a plan of something you're intending to write.
If you have specific questions you want readers to keep in mind whilst reading your piece, please include these. For example, you may want to know what they think of a certain character or a rhyme scheme. Alternatively, you may just want some general feedback. Whatever works best for you!
The deadline for entering work to be discussed is Tuesday 13 July. Please email your work to Adam on abayfield@library.gg – all the work will be sent around to each member of the group a week before the workshop so you'll all have time to read each other’s writing.
We look forward to seeing you there!
