Much-loved sports presenter, author and endurance athlete Vassos Alexander discovered a passion for cold-water swimming during lockdown, seeking distraction and solace in the Thames. In Swimmingly, he shares his hilarious and heartfelt journey into outdoor swimming, exploring its trials, joys and the vibrant community at its heart. Along the way, he meets inspirational swimmers, including Diana Nyad, Lewis Pugh and Lynne Cox, while highlighting important issues like water quality and the need to protect our waterways.
