Get your hands dirty and your creativity flowing — we’re now bringing our Beginner Pottery Wheel Experienceto Saturday afternoons, perfect for weekend adventurers!
Running fortnightly from 2–4pm with two hours of muddy fun at the wheel. You’ll start with a one-hour small group session led by one of our brilliant, potters who’ll teach you the basics — from centering your clay to pulling up your very own pot. Then, it’s time to take the wheel solo! You’ll get a full hour of independent wheel time to keep practising, experimenting, and making something totally your own.
No pressure, just good vibes, great fun, and satisfying squishiness.
What’s included?
1 hour of hands-on group tuition
1 hour of independent wheel time
Bisque firing of 1 masterpiece (your favourite creation!)
All tools, clay, and equipment provided — just bring yourself

-
Comfy clothes you don’t mind getting a bit messy
-
Trousers are best (you’ll be sitting low at the wheel)
-
No open-toed shoes
-
Long hair up, and please remove jewellery or dangly bits
- Note: Long fingernails can make throwing more difficult
