Guernsey Symphony Orchestra and Camerata, in association with BWCI, present their annual children's concert.
Alongside Christmas favourites including the Twelve Days of Christmas, Sleigh Ride and Rudolph, we bring you the wonderful ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas, for narrator and orchestra. Then, follow the classic story of Peter & the Wolf with live orchestra accompanying a screening of the 2006 Academy Award winning best Animated Short Film by Suzie Templeton. Plucky Peter encounters a variety of animals around his grandfather’s house deep in the woods, including a cat, a duck, a bird and a big, bad wolf. One of Prokofiev’s most famous pieces, its musical brilliance is a delight for both young and old. Early booking is advised to avoid disappointment!
