In their annual Winter Concert series, Guernsey Music Centre students showcase their hard work with an evening of varied and entertaining music.

The Youth Wind Band will be performing 'Overture for a Celebration' by Steve Hodges, Highlights from Shrek by John Moss and By Loch and Mountain by Robert W. Smith The Youth Training Orchestra programme will feature Phantom of the Opera by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Harvest Home (from Autumn) and Fireside (from Winter), Scenes from
'The Four Seasons' by Antonio Vivaldi, and The Toreadors from Carmen by Georges Bizet, arr. Jeff Manookian
The Intermediate Choir (accompanist Isabel Whitford) will perform Like a Rainbow by Bob Chilcott, Wayfarin' Stranger, by Reginald Unterseher, I Got A Robe arr. by Michael Neaum and I'II Give My Love an Apple arr. by Imant Raminsh (Oboe solo Isobel Sexton)
The Guernsey Girl's Choir will perform Mexican Lullaby arr. by Michael Neaum, (Solo Amy Adams), Panis Angelicus by Cesar Franck, O Clap Your hands by Douglas Coombes, All Shall Be Well by Sarah Quartel (Violin Matilda Cole) and Chili Con Carne by Anders Edenroth
The evening will conclude with a joint performance of Africa by Toto.
