Guernsey Music Centre Summer Concert

In their annual Summer Concert and Leavers’ Concert, Guernsey Music Centre students showcase their hard work with an evening of varied and entertaining music.

The Youth Wind Band will be playing ‘Roar’ by Katy Perry, ‘This is Me’ from the Greatest Showman and ‘Shape of You’ by Ed Sheeran. The Youth Training Orchestra will be performing Mozart’s ‘Eine Kleine Nachtmusik’, ‘Intermezzo’ from Mascagni’s Cavalleria Rusticana, ‘Hall of the Mountain King’ by Grieg and the theme from Lalo Schifrin’s ‘Mission: Impossible’. The evening will also feature performances from the Music Centre Intermediate Choir and the Guernsey Girls’ Choir who will be singing ‘Ave Maria’ by Holst and ‘Chattanooga Choo Choo’ arr. Pete Schmutte.
