The Fanny Davies International Piano Series seeks to build a welcoming community for new and existing audiences with a passion for piano music.
Join Jeneba Kanneh-Mason, one of the UK’s most exciting young pianists, for an evening of radiant and imaginative piano music. A BBC Young Musician finalist and now an exclusive Sony Classical Artist, Jeneba has captivated audiences for her expressive and compelling performances and interpretation.
Her programme opens with Bach’s Partita No. 5 and Beethoven’s “Tempest” Sonata before exploring the lyrical and evocative sound-worlds of William Grant Still, Debussy, and Florence Price, and concluding with Chopin’s 3rd and 4th Ballades – pinnacles of Romantic piano writing.
