Running for one hour each week throughout the summer, the series offers an opportunity to step away from the demands of the day and enjoy a mindful lunchtime immersed in creativity. Each session, taking place on Wednesdays from 12:30 - 1:30pm, will showcase a different artistic discipline, giving audiences the chance to experience a diverse programme of performances.

From captivating poetry readings and classical music recitals to contemporary singers, acoustic performances and other cultural showcases, every week promises something new to inspire and entertain.

5th August - Live Poetry with Tim, Lupin, Rowan and Trudie

12th August - Classical and Contemporary Music with Martyn

19th August - Acoustic Sessions with Mickey and Amelia

26th August - Visual Storytelling with Etienne

Visitors are encouraged to bring a picnic, relax on the lawn and enjoy the peaceful surroundings while experiencing live performances in an informal, welcoming atmosphere. Whether dropping in during a lunch break, meeting friends or spending time with family, everyone is invited to take a moment to slow down and celebrate the richness of the arts.

The Summer Lunchtime Arts Series is free to attend and open to people of all ages. No booking is required. Simply bring a blanket or picnic chair, pack your lunch (or buy something delicious from Café Victoria) and enjoy an hour of creativity in the gardens.

"We wanted to create a space where people can pause in the middle of a busy day, reconnect with the arts and enjoy the simple pleasure of live performance in beautiful surroundings. Whether you're discovering a new artist, listening to poetry beneath the trees or sharing a picnic with friends, we hope these sessions become a highlight of the summer for our community." - Rebecca Booth, CEO, Guernsey Arts

"Dorey Financial Modelling is pleased to support the Guernsey Arts Garden Series at Candie Gardens. Spending time in green spaces is one of the simplest things we can do for our enjoyment of life, and Candie's Victorian gardens, overlooking St Peter Port and the islands, are a wonderful place to do it. We're glad to help the community share in the outdoor experience and make the most of the beautiful islands we're lucky to call home."
- Martyn Dorey, Director, Dorey Financial Modelling
