Entanglement by Linda Martorella
In this exhibition, narratives are woven through bold, conceptual, figurative paintings. Using oils, acrylics and mixed media, the collection aims to communicate beauty and complexity from the depths of human form. Painting ‘A passage from the chaos of the emotions to the order of the possible' this collection is a wander into the psycho-geographical landscape of the mind's eye. The interconnection of hidden thoughts and feelings that affect our lives is vividly portrayed. The paintings depict an emergence from the raw confines of the body - souls becoming powerful, fearless beings who exist wholly in relation to each other.
