We are inviting all of Guernsey’s bravest explorers to join us for a big adventure. We have teamed up with our lovely friends at The Petit Train and Iris and Dora to create a magical day filled with surprises, inspired by the classic children’s book ‘We’re going on a bear hunt’ written by Michael Rosen and Helen Oxenbury.
All explorers will meet at the Liberation Monument to catch the Petit Train which will depart for an adventure around town before stopping off at Iris and Dora. Be sure to keep a close eye during the train ride as there may be some sneaky bears popping up throughout the trip. Iris and Dora will be hosting a variety of creative pottery painting activities which will help you to complete your mission in finding those crafty bears. Everyone is encouraged to bring a teddy of their own and packed lunch for a teddy bears picnic
With a short train ride back to the Liberation Monument, it’s now time for the final part of the day, the bear hunt! Climb on board the coach and sing along whilst we hunt for those big old grizzly bears! We will then make our way by foot, tiptoeing to the gloomy bear cave, adventuring through the swishy swashy grass, sploshing through the river, squelching through the mud, stumbling through the forest and there may even be a swirling whirling snowstorm!
Departure from the Liberation Monument at 10.30
Estimated finish time 15.00.
