The creative director and the writer of the world-famous Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square Christmas Concert will be presenting an exclusive preview screening of this year’s concert, ‘Victor Hugo’s Wondrous Feast’, at Les Côtils on 3 December.
David Warner and Alex Mackenzie Johns will be visiting us from the USA to talk about the annual concert, which is regularly the most-watched Christmas broadcast in America. The Choir’s musical director, Mack Wilberg, is a celebrated composer of choral music. David and Alex will be discussing the play, its inspiration, its creation and production, the history of the Tabernacle Choir, one of the oldest choirs in the world, and the music they perform. They’ll be delighted to take questions.
