‘When This Is Over’: a brand new play presented and devised by The Guernsey Institute’s Performing Arts students in association with Company Three and performed by arrangement with Nick Hern books.
An extraordinary take on matters that affect our world now, in the immediate future and once we are gone.
Suitable for ages 14 and above.
As world leaders gather in Glasgow to decide the future of the world, a group of teenagers come together in Guernsey to tell the story of their lives - their past, present and future. Created during the pandemic, When This Is Over captures the extraordinary, funny and surprising moments that can change our lives forever. This brand new and unique play is a celebration of possibility, hope and the power of stories, told by teenagers standing on the brink of an uncertain future.
The Thursday performance will be a double bill. In the second half of the show, audiences will get the chance to see professional work ‘31 Lives’ written by Laura Simpson and performed by professional actors
