Through influences such as Caravaggio and Goya, Jamie uses contemporary techniques and materials in exploring traditional figurative painting on his own journey of self-discovery and expression.
Each piece aims to speak to the viewer on an emotional and visceral level, pushing the boundaries of the medium and bringing each subject to life through rich layers of colour and dramatic contrasts of light and shadow.
