‘Collections’ – Tim Babbe
I was born and educated in Guernsey and have been producing pottery for many years.
In the late Seventies I travelled to Australia to work with both an Australian and New Zealand potter, learning new techniques in the world of studio pottery. On returning to the Island in the early eighties I joined a small studio in St Saviours with Paul Dyer, a notable potter making reduction fired stoneware and porcelain working and selling at the Coach House Gallery.
I now have a small studio at home where my passion of ceramics has never stopped. I continue to find new and old methods to try and get that perfect pot.
I am delighted to be sharing an exhibition with Rachael at the Folk Museum at Saumarez Park.
Tim Babbe's exhibition ‘Collections’ will feature alongside Rachael Bearder’s exhibition ‘Transformations’.
