10 May 2026 is the 81st anniversary of Sark's liberation from German Occupation during World War II and is one of the most important days in Sark's calendar.
Marked annually, the festivities provide an opportunity for islanders to remember the days of occupation, which played such a monumental role in shaping both the landscape and the lives of the people of the Islands of Guernsey.
This year, the timetable includes:
- 11:40 - Parade
- 12:00 - Outdoor church service
- 12:45 - Lunch at the Island Hall & Community Centre
Booking forms can be collected from the Gallery Stores or email [email protected]
