Kids Take The Wheel: 5 Week Pottery Course

We’re introducing a brand new 5 week course where we’re giving children an amazing opportunity to get hands on with the wheel and develop their creative skills in pottery throwing and hand-building. The experienced tutor will guide the class through a variety of pottery techniques, including the slab and coil methods as well as exploring texture and form.

This creative course includes:

Sessions throwing on the wheel;
Sessions hand-building with clay;
One session glazing the fired pottery pieces from the previous sessions.
The class will run every Thursday starting from the 20th January from 3.45-5pm and is available to children aged 9-16 years old. Please note that we will be running a separate course for younger children aged 5-9 years on Wednesday afternoons.

The course is limited to 12 children per class. This is so that everyone receives the time and attention they require throughout the session.

All firing and materials are included.
