Marc-Antoine Charpentier’s Christmas mass, the Messe de Minuit, celebrates the joyful news of the Birth of Christ with cheerful happiness.

The beautiful divertimento in F by Mozart was written when he was only 16 but it already shows off his genius, charm and skill as a composer.

Cantata 105 by J S Bach is one of his many Church Cantatas. It has been described as one of the most sublime descriptions of the soul in baroque and Christian art.

Formed in 2007 The Guernsey Bach Choir has performed a large repertoire of choral music, and is now a well-established vocal ensemble with a growing reputation for high standard performances. Tonight they come together with their orchestral friends to perform these great Choral and Orchestral masterpieces.
