It's curtain up on Guernsey's annual One Act Play Festival later this month as local
schools and amateur theatre groups take to the stage across five nights at Beau
Sejour theatre from Tuesday 21st to Saturday 25th May.
This year will see a bumper number of productions staged - thirteen in total -
including one from across the Bailiwick waters. The festival organisers are
absolutely delighted to welcome the Alderney Theatre Group to the proceedings,
which will conclude with a prize-giving ceremony on the final night.
The festival, sponsored and supported by GADOC, is a wonderful platform for
amateur performers, writers and directors to flex their creative muscles and
showcase what they're capable of with smaller productions, all the while adhering
to strict festival rules - including a time limit.
Tickets are available now at £11 per night or £42 for a season ticket, which allows
a person to attend the whole five-night festival. Season tickets can only be booked
in person at the Beau Sejour box office and holders have an exclusive opportunity
to vote for a special audience award on the final evening!
Tickets are available online from www.guernseytickets.gg or via Beau Sejour box
office (in person or call 225200).
