In her first performance for the Fanny Davies International Piano Series, Italian pianist Ida Pelliccioli makes a welcome return to Guernsey.
A rising star of the piano, Ida can frequently be heard performing throughout Europe and internationally. She has been recognized for her innovative programming and explores all things Debussy in this programme by performing his 1905 Hommage à Rameau alongside one of the 1727 Rameau Suites.
In the second half, she performs Spanish influenced works of Debussy alongside a suite by Albeniz and other short pieces including La Vega, which Debussy heard Albeniz performing and which left a lasting impression.
