The Crwth Quartet is made up of Jacob Wright, Georgie Bloomfield, Matthew Hayes and Ruaraidh Williams, all students at the Royal Northern College in Manchester. This young and vibrant string quartet is visiting the island to perform a varied and exciting programme of music for locals and visitors to Guernsey. One member of the quartet, Jacob Wright has strong local links, having grown up in Guernsey.
Their repertoire is tailored to include classical and lighter pieces, to make string quartet music appealing to a broad audience. The series will be performing all over the island, to ensure the widest possible access.
There's plenty of parking, free refreshments and a 20 minute interval, and retiring donations.
