Laugh out loud in the Café
April’s Comedy Club, is now June's Comedy Club and sees the return of Glenn Wool to Guernsey. Recently seen supporting Reginald D Hunter in the main hall, Glenn is now bringing his show ‘The Tiny Kings of Winter’ to the more intimate surroundings of Local & Wild, upstairs.
Glenn’s show is an hour of unsettling stories about settling down. He has burned his party lifestyle to the ground and from the ashes emerged a phoenix of personal responsibility that includes a wife, two kids and a nice little house in the countryside. Growing up, growing out and dropping off (kids at school), getting older, dumber and wiser in equal measures.
EFFORTLESSLY FUNNY WITH AFFABILITY OTHER COMEDIANS CAN ONLY DREAM OF - The Guardian
Warming up the crowd with their ever-funny school boy humour are local outfit Band Wagon and story-telling, musical comedian Sophie Duncan.
