Nearly 100 singers from across the Bailiwick will join together at 3pm at St Stephen’s Church in a ‘Come and Sing’ Fauré Requiem to raise money for the Guernsey Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Supporters are encouraged to come and hear the singers in a short free concert at 6pm on Saturday 5th October.
Singers will prepare the work from 3pm and perform that same evening.
The brainchild of Helen Grand, conductor of Guernsey Chamber Choir who will conduct the work as part of the Guernsey Choral Festival, says she is "very excited to be conducting so many singers for such a worthy cause"
David Clark, on behalf of the Trustees of MS Guernsey said - "all of the funds raised will be used to provide care and a variety of support measures for those in our community who are affected by this debilitating condition. Any money raised will be most thankfully appreciated."
