Clameur Du Cinéma is screening Barking Dogs Never Bite (2000), the first film by Parasite director Bong Joon Ho.
Focussing on an academic who wages war on the dogs in his apartment block, Barking Dogs Never Bite is a dark comedy that is both a social satire and an ingenious thriller.
Wynter Tyson, the founder of Clameur Du Cinéma, said “Bong Joon Ho is a fantastic director with a very distinctive view of the world. He has made a string of smart and inventive films and I’m looking forward to sharing his debut feature with an audience who might only be familiar with his more recent work.”
Barking Dogs Never Bite is being screened at 7.30pm, Wednesday 7 September 2022 at The Frossard Theatre, Guernsey Museum. Tickets cost £7 / £5 / £10 and can be booked via www.cdcgsy.com.
