The 2025 Youth Camerata Concert, which makes up an exciting component of the GSO/Guernsey Camerata Weekend at St James promises once again this year to showcase local musical talent, as it has done for many years.
The artistic brainchild of the late Mary Cordall, the concert allows young musicians to perform on stage at St James, giving them the opportunity to play in the great acoustic to an audience who is used to welcoming the very best of Guernsey’s young musical talent to the concert platform.
This year will see a range of sixth form students perform in a solo setting alongside the Guernsey Music Centre Cello Ensemble and the Guernsey Music Centre Chamber Choir, Cantabile. The concert will also feature oboist Annabelle Pizzey.
The concert is free and there will be a retiring collection.
