Art at The Park: Ecosphere by Olympia McEwan

Olympia is a visual artist living and working here on Guernsey. Olympia studied Fine Art at Loughborough College, graduating with a BA(Hons) in 1993. She has been painting portraits for over 20 years and has recently turned her artistic gaze towards Nature for her inspiration. She is also a qualified Art Teacher and works with local community groups, leading workshops for Art for Guernsey. 

Combining her portrait painting career with her passion for the natural world, “both subjects are a joyful reflection of my love for people and their stories, as well as the beauty of nature and its fragility”. You can see more about Olympia's projects on her website; www.olympiamcewan.com

National Trust of Guernsey is excited to host the work of one of Guernsey’s most popular and remarkable artists. 

The exhibition will be on view at the National Trust of Guernsey’s Art at The Park Gallery, The Folk and Costume Museum, Saumarez Park from Thursday 11 May to Friday 2 June. Open 10am – 5pm seven days a week.
