Join us for an evening of Blues and Rock with Sarge’ Pete’ Frampton and The Escape Committee
Formed by Guernseyman Pete Frampton[AKA Sarge] in 1989, The Escape Committee, has performed hundreds of gigs in the UK.
George Glover and Pete have a long association and worked together in the 70s with David Parton and whilst George moved on with The Climax Blues Band of which he is still a member, Pete joined Americana/folk band Poacher and enjoyed international success performing on shows featuring Don Williams, Rick Nelson, Tammy Wynette amongst others.
The current lineup of the Escape Committee includes:
Pete Frampton on guitar and vocals.
Drummer Steve Gibson , a seasoned session man currently playing with Sad Cafe Now.
Keyboard player George Glover of Climax Blues band.
They will be joined by Guernsey’s Peter de Bertrand on bass and Chris le Lacheur on guitar.
These Journeymen will be performing arrangements from the Friends Band repertoire as well as original songs written by both George and Pete.
