Based on the hit 1997 film, The Full Monty is set in post-industrial Sheffield and follows six unemployed steelworkers grappling with loss of work, identity, and self-esteem. When Gaz, a struggling father, spots a male strip show pulling in big crowds, he hatches a bold plan: he and his mates will form their own act — and go “the full monty.”
As they prepare for the show, the men confront personal challenges including body image, mental health, and broken relationships.
Funny, moving, and rooted in working-class spirit, the play is a heartfelt celebration of resilience, community, and daring to bare it all.
