Welcome to the Fifth edition of the Guernsey Arts Open

Can you believe it? 2024 marks the fifth year of the Guernsey Arts Open and we are so glad that you are here, viewing these amazing artworks.
This diverse exhibition celebrates the breadth of creative talent we have here within the Bailiwick and goes from strength to strength each year. “The Open” has come to be known as a place where artistic friendships are forged and brings together artists of all ages.

A New Chapter for Guernsey Arts

2024 marks a new chapter for Guernsey Arts, as thanks to financial support from the Swallow Charitable Trust 2018, we have officially taken over management of The George Crossan Gallery for the next five years. We are very grateful to The Swallow Trust for believing in our vision of access to the arts for all and for facilitating the management of this beautiful space within the historic Market Buildings.

Earlier this year, we also launched our Guernsey Arts Membership Scheme and we are thankful to all our members for their heartfelt support and encouragement. You are helping us make a difference through the arts.

The success of this exhibition could not be achieved without our incredible artists. Thank you for taking the time to submit your work and for sharing your achievements with us. Thank you also to our Judging Panel, to the Guernsey Arts team and to Bailiwick Estates for their continued collaboration and support.
