Artists will work alongside the Guernsey Arts team to push their practice to the next level, receiving curatorial and promotional support, alongside budget determined by the Curatorial Team. Exhibitions are typically held for a six week period and can encompass all aspects of the visual arts including Sculpture, Photography, Fine Arts and Contemporary Works, including animation, projections and installations.

Guernsey Arts and “The Greenhouse Gallery” have been established in Guernsey since 2009. We’ve provided local artists with funding and exhibition support for many years. Our new Expression of Interests form is aimed at encouraging artists to think big and for us to engage with artists and audiences who may not have engaged with Guernsey Arts before.

“I feel incredibly lucky and grateful that Guernsey Arts has embraced me and my artistic practice so fully and with so much enthusiasm. With their funding, assistance, shepherding, and encouragement with my exhibition, they’ve held me aloft for other institutions and people to see. From this I've gained many opportunities to continue my artistic practice and further my reach on island and on the mainland.” - James Kitts, Local Filmmaker & Multi-disciplinary Artist - Shrouded Isles of Sarnia (Greenhouse Gallery Exhibition held in 2025)

“After studying abroad on the mainland where my connections and career started, I feared that moving back home would hinder my growth and ability to continue my career. However, upon returning to the island, I found that support and trust in the arts had shifted. [Guernsey Arts] have allowed me to believe in Guernsey's future as a place where creativity and the arts can thrive.” - Etienne Marquis, Local Fine Artist - The Bleeding Veil (Greenhouse Gallery Exhibition to be held Summer 2026)
