We’ve Got It Covered in the greenhouse

We’ve Got It Covered, the next exhibition in the greenhouse, opens to the public on Friday 15th April.

The exhibition, which continues the Design Matters series, allows you to explore the different dust jacket designs for the internationally succesful book The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society.

Around the gallery will be versions of the book’s cover design from around the world and you will be able to take a look at the books themselves and vote for your favourite design on the interactive wall.

As well as this the entries in a competition for local students to design their own version of the book cover will be on display, and there will be a display of private collection of rare editions of the book.

Exhibition organiser, Joanna Littlejohns, said: “This is a great opportunity to celebrate this book’s success, to showcase local budding designers and to further the Guernsey Arts Commission’s Design Matters series of exhibitions. The realisation of this show has been possible with support from publishers globally and the author’s niece and daughter.”

The exhibtion is being run in association with the first ever Guernsey Literary Festival which takes place in May.

Take a look at some preview photos from the exhibition on the Guernsey Arts Commission Facebook page.

We’ve Got It Covered runs in the greenhouse from Friday 15th April until Thursday 11th August.
