The Guernsey Arts Commission is delighted to announce the appointment of the new Community Arts Development Manager. Lottie Barnes has taken up the post of Community Arts Development Manager and started with the Commission on 7th December.
Lottie has worked in the field of Community Arts, in Greater Manchester for the past eight years. During this time she has worked for a wide range of organisations engaging many different communities and groups.
Lottie is delighted to be working with the Commission and the opportunity to work with the community of Guernsey “Manchester has provided me with a unique insight into the world of Community Arts, however I am looking forward to exchange a life in the city for a sea view and being part of a new community.”
Lottie will spend some time getting to know the work of the Commission and then will be straight into projects which will stamp her creative mark on the people of Guernsey.
Chairman of the GAC Board Tony Galliene says “I’m very pleased to welcome Lottie to the post of Community Arts Development Manager. Lottie comes to us with a wealth of experience. We look forward to her developing the valuable work of our Community Arts Programme in Guernsey.”
