We promised you another new member of staff to the Arts Development Team, and here she is! Jo Morrissey has joined us in the role of Arts Development Officer and will be working on a range of projects with an emphasis on funding and marketing.
Jo grew up in Guernsey and left to do a BA Hons Drama Degree at King Alfred’s College after which she travelled around and lived in America for a while. Jo then went on to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Arts Management at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, where she very quickly became obsessed with the Welsh Rugby Team, Welsh rarebit and Bryn Terfel (something to do with him looking like Santa apparently)
For the past eighteen months she has been working at St David’s Hall the National Concert Hall of Wales in Cardiff in their Marketing and PR department (Please don’t ask her to speak Welsh as her standard is embarrassingly poor!) Jo is delighted to be back on home ground and is very excited to have joined Guernsey Arts Commission and looks forward to getting stuck in quickly to her new role.
