Short film ‘Patch’ Wins The Award of Merit at the LA Global Film Festival

We are delighted to share that short film ‘Patch’, which was supported through 2016 GAC Grants Scheme, has won its first award – The Award of Merit, at the LA Global Film Festival! Short film 'Patch'

‘Patch’ is a stylish black comedy about a peculiar definition of friendship. It is an international co-production between Guernsey & The Netherlands. The shooting took place in October 2015 in Guernsey.

The film is directed by award winning director Kristjan Knigge, funded by Dutch and Guernsey investors and involved many Guernsey professionals (on site-production manager, actors, fight choreographer, make up artist, set assistant) and Guernsey entrepreneurs (The Farmhouse Hotel and Restaurant, Guernsey., Le Chene Hotel, Guernsey Classic Vehicle Club LBG, Guernsey Round Table The Guernsey Talent Agency, St John Ambulance Environment Agency – Govgg).

Patch outranked many favorite films, so we are very proud of their achievement.
