Share your favourite poems on National Poetry Day

Thursday 6th October is National Poetry Day and to mark the occasion our Film, Poetry & Prose Sub-Committee have teamed up with the Guille-Alles Library to give you the chance to explore your favourite poems, and maybe find some new ones.

Just head down to the Library in Market Square at 20 past 7 in the evening and take along your favourite poem to read out, or, just come along and listen to others reading their favourite works.

The evening is open to anyone to come along and read. There’s no need to book and entry is free!

If you need any more information please contact Ed Jewell at the Guille-Alles Library on 72392.
