Samba Sunday on the seafront

On Sunday 10th July Samba Sunday is back on the St Peter Port seafront for a second year with Guernsey’s own Samba Burros and the Guernsey Arts Commission’s Performing Arts Sub-Committee.

Things get going at 12 with drumming and dance workshops all afternoon so you can learn how to play the Latin style samba rhythms and how to move to them.

Alongside the workshops there will be a chance to make your own hats in a samba style.

The day will be rounded off by a parade along the seafront at twenty-past four led by Samba Burros where you can show off your newly learnt dancing and drumming skills in your samba hat!
