TRANSFORMING: SEVEN OF THE BEST EXHIBITION

Open daily 10am – 4pm

A showcase of some of the best art, design, media and photography from the 2014 end-of-year shows at the College of Further Education, Elizabeth College, the Grammar School and Ladies College. Featuring work by Eleanor Atkinson, Jake Bishop, Alice Hudson, Kaya Ozard, Daniel Ray, Oliver Rowe and Karl Simpkin. The greenhouse at Guernsey Museum Candie.

 

MAKING A MARK EXHIBITION

Open daily 10am – 4pm

Artists communicate through making marks. In this exhibition you’ll be able to explore how these various marks are made, from straightforward drawing materials to elaborate printing techniques. Guernsey Museum, Candie.

GUERNSEY JAZZ ORCHESTRA 2014

1 November 2014

The Guernsey Jazz Orchestra presents an evening of Big Band, Swing and Jazz with guest vocalists. Join the band in a journey through some of the greatest big band classics.  Tickets £10 per person or £100 per table of 10.  All in aid of the Guernsey Society for Cancer Relief. 8pm. St. James.

 

GUERNSEY SYMPHONIC WINDS NOV 2014

The Guernsey Symphonic Winds makes a welcome return to the St James stage. Tickets £10, £8 senior citizens and students over 18, school children free, £8 restricted view. 8pm. St. James.

Hop on board for the musical journey of a lifetime. A fabulous 60’s fell good fun packed musical where every song is a hit! Performace at 8pm,  2 1/2 hours with a 20 min interval. Beau Sejour. Tickets priced at £16,£14 and £12  with no concessions.

 

ABBA SENSATION

Relive the colour, sound, and disco beat of the 70s with the Sensation ABBA Tribute Band. Tickets are £60 each or £600 for a table of 10 including supper and a night of entertainment! FADE2GREY LIVE IN HERM – WORLD PREMIERE

15 November 2014

First screening of Fade2Grey’s amazing live concert in Herm filmed in May 2014. At the Princess Royal Centre for Performing Arts. In aid of GSPCA and World Vision. Doors open 7pm, full bar service. Screening at 8pm. Tickets £10 includes free DVD . 8pm, Princess Royal Centre for Performing Arts.

CHRISTMAS LIGHT SWITCH ON

29 November 2014

Switch on time is 5pm. Father Christmas arrives at near the Model Yacht Pond at 4pm and arrives in Church Square around 4:45pm. Come and join Father Christmas as he visits St Peter Port to turn on the festive lights. Don’t forget to bring your Christmas list!
