Guernsey Arts Commissions’ Community Arts Programme presents, Let Me Introduce Myself, an interactive project launching on June 17th 2013.
This exciting component of GAC’s Community Arts programme has been developed in collaboration with young people from Les Genats and the Karibiner, Action for Children, projects.
The Arts Trail will use geocaching, GPS Co-ordinates, or a paper trail as the very different ways in which members of the public can interact with one another and this exciting new project. Each of the five sites will have a different
Site 1: has a film
Site 2: has sculptures
Site 3: is a sound installation in one of the WW2 Bunkers
Site 4: will be drawings
Site 5: stop motion photography
A major component of this part of the summer programme will be having those on the Arts Trail not only find clues and move through the trail, but it will also ask them to introduce themselves at each of the sites via our website and social media sites; Facebook, Twitter, Vimeo or YouTube.
This is a great opportunity for children, their parents or carers to take part in an interactive activity both educational and entertaining.
