GAC Creative Networking is a great opportunity to get together with artists from a wide range of local organisations, talk about and get information on relevant topics from guest speakers, have a drink and meet a whole host of new people! We hope to run a Creative Networking event bi-monthly with topics ranging from “Tradition vs. Innovation” to “The Arts and Kids – a practical guide to Child Protection”.
Our first event will take place on Thursday 29th April from 5.30pm at the Princess Royal Centre for Performing Arts. We will be joined by Robert Wallace, the editor of BBC Guernsey, who will give an interactive seminar entitled Making the Media Work for You, starting at 6.15pm.
Following this event, we will be launching GBG2, a double compilation CD of local music put together by our Music Subcommittee. The Launch will feature acoustic sets from some of the acts and you’ll be able to talk to the guys from Twist Records who produced the CD.
Tea and coffee will be provided, but the bar will be open if you fancy something stronger!
RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org or call 749262 to book your place.
