Lantern Making Workshops

We are very excited about this years Lantern Parade which is brought to you by Guernsey Arts Commission in conjunction with The Sarah Groves Foundation. If you missed last years parade then check out this video which will give you a sense of this beautiful event http://vimeo.com/89022534

We will be wizzing around the island making as many lanterns as we possibly can and YOU will have the chance to make one! Come along to one of our FREE workshops.

Due to limited spaces lanterns need to be made in pairs, families or groups, this will enable more people to be able to participate. We advise that children are aged 6 and above and must be accompanied during the workshop.

The workshops are free and all materials are provided.

If you make a lantern you are also committing to attending the  Lantern Parade on the 14th March. The workshops are on the following dates:

Sunday 8th February, PEH Emma Ferbrache Room – 10am-12pm or 1pm-3pm

Saturday 14th February, Beau Sejour – 10am-12pm or 1pm-3pm

Saturday 14th February, St Martins Parish Hall – 2-4pm or 5pm-7pm
