Communications Officer

Job Description

The Guernsey Arts Commission is looking to appoint an innovative,
self-motivated individual, preferably a graduate, to become their new
Communications Officer.

This role will spearhead the continual development of the Guernsey Arts
Commission’s website (alongside our design partners at Specsavers)
as well as working towards strengthening the lines of communication
with organisations that the GAC funds, as well as existing and
potential sponsors.

To deliver this, the Communications Officer’s role will require working
closely with the already existing GAC Sub-Committees and in particular the
Commissioners with responsibility for Funding and Fundraising.
Wide experience of working with arts organisations, with volunteers,
and within a team is desirable. The person appointed will be part of the
Arts Development Team based at the Guernsey Information Centre.
