If you missed our first two public lantern workshops don’t worry there are more too come!
Our next workshops are:
15th Feb at St Martins Parish Hall: 5pm-7pm
17th Feb (Half Term) at Beau Sejour: 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm
These workshops are free and aimed at all ages although children will need to be accompanied by an adult. We are encouraging groups, families and friends to make one lantern together.
Due to limited places booking is essential, To book a place email firstname.lastname@example.org or call Antonia on 709746
There will also be Free Lantern Making workshops at Candie Museum!
These will take place in Half Term: Mon 17 – Fri 21 Feb, 9am-12pm
These sessions are aimed at ages 9 and over – and all children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult; we suggest the grown-ups make a lantern too as it’s so much fun!
Booking is essential for these sessions. To book a place please contact Jo on 747264 or email@example.com .
We are hoping that all Lantern makers will attend the Guernsey Arts Commission Lantern Parade on 1st March from Town to Candie Gardens. This spectacle will celebrate the new home of the Greenhouse at Candie, opening in Spring 2014. There will be free entry to the museum, the exhibition and there will be surprise performances! It will be a brilliant evening, we hope you can join us!
