We are very excited to annouce that the GAC will be screening the fantastic new film FIT featuring local actress TIGGER BLAIZE at the Princess Royal Centre for Performing Arts on Saturday 15th May.
Described by The Times as “a kind of gritty take on the shiny E4 drama Glee”, FIT follows six teenagers with a passion for dance through the minefield of exploding hormones, self discovery and homophobia. The film was commissioned by the charity Stonewall and takes a hard hitting look at what it’s like to feel like you don’t belong.
We are also delighted that Rikki Beadle-Blair, the film’s writter and director, will join Tigger Blaize in a Q & A after the screening hosted by BBC Guernsey’s Gary Burgess. This will be a great opportunity to talk about the issues raised in the film and to find out more about working in the film industry.
Best of all, this event is FREE! You do need to book your space though – call the Princess Royal Centre for Performing Arts’ box office on 749999 today!
