If you are planning on running an arts event or project before the end of the year then Tuesday the 8th of November is your last chance to apply for funding from the Guernsey Arts Commission.
We are also now accepting applications for events taking place in 2012, so if you are planning anything for next year head over to our funding page to find out more.
If you have any questions about the funding process or would like any guidance with your application please contact Communications Officer, Tom Girard, on firstname.lastname@example.org or on 709748.
A major feature of our work here at the Guernsey Arts Commission is distributing funding to arts events and projects from two grants from the Commerce & Employment and Culture & Leisure Departments of the States of Guernsey.
It is our role to distribute to events and projects which stand for the same things as the Guernsey Arts Commission – developing and promoting the arts in new and exciting ways while giving more people a chance to become involved and help people see just how much the arts are a part of Guernsey life.
So far in 2011 we have granted funding to more than 30 separate events and projects spanning everything from music festivals to drama workshops, public art installations and film projects.
