Alan West and "Syncopated!"

Syncopated! is the new name for ‘Sounds of Jazz’ which has been playing in the island for a number of years.

The band’s membership has not changed but the genres played have broadened and it was felt that the new name more accurately describes that. Still under the leadership of Alan West, with vocals from Julia Jager, and a repertoire ranging from Fats Waller to Sting, Cole Porter to Crowded House, ‘Syncopated!' will entertain you and cater for a wide range of tastes. 

The church will be fully dressed from Harvest Sunday the previous week...so lots of arrangements adorning every window cill and column! A bit of fruit or a vegetable or two around also! No tickets, free refreshments, retiring collection.
