‘Adventures in Arts and Health’
Artist and Creative Practitioner, Nicky Colclough, will be talking about her experiences of working in health care settings in the UK and internationally. Nicky has dedicated her practice to developing work in the field of arts and health and would like to share her thoughts as well as host an open discussion about this growing practice. Nicky works with a range of art forms to create original and inspiring projects with audiences including young people under stress, adults recovering from stroke and older people living with dementia. If you would like to know more about arts and health and the difference it can make to people’s wellbeing, come along to find out more.
Nicky has been commissioned by Lottie Barnes, Community Arts Development Manager, who will also be sharing the work Guernsey Arts Commmission is currently delivering around Arts in Health including future projects and opportunities.
