A Conversation with Otherness exhibition
Exhibition closes on Monday 31st August.
The exhibition ‘A Conversation with Otherness’ consists of around 2,000 canvasses that celebrate difference. Guernsey Arts Commission delivered workshops all over the island asking people of all ages to use a canvas to create a snapshot of their personal or social identity. This overwhelming number of canvasses that contain peoples individuality, sparks many a conversation and story.
Collect your Canvas!
We will be giving people the chance to collect their artwork on Tuesday 1st September from 10am-1pm from the greenhouse gallery at Guernsey Museum. Anyone who wishes to collect their canvas MUST inform the front desk of the museum, and a member of staff will show you into the gallery to collect your canvas. Anyone wanting to visit the entire museum, for any other exhibition will be required to pay the usual museum admission fee. Collection is from 10am – 1pm on Tuesday 1st September only.

Please join the Guernsey Arts Commission at the greenhouse gallery on Thursday 10th September from 5:30pm until 7pm for the premier of Faces & Figures: Student Exhibition 2015.
The student exhibition showcases a variety of art, design, media and photography from the 2015 end-of year shows at the College of Further Education, the Grammar School, Elizabeth College and Ladies’ College. This year’s students include: Sofia Ogier, Bertie Charman, Giles Quigley, Brittany Chippendale, Rosemary Depres and Samuel O’Neil.
